You can sense it. So synthetic, yet so natural. You just don't want to name it, because it will become obvious that there is a problem, and problems should be dealt with. If we start handling the problems, we might burn out. You have to stay on that fragile, almost transparent line. We become completely addicted to the drama of life, stable instability, and intensity. Feelings of duality - in some ways all is the same, in some ways just absolutely different. As you try to narrow your horizons and find the common denominator it might seem to become easier. Only coercion becomes that motive. Violence against the creator himself (quoting K. Žungaila), violence by tearing out an old motif and forcing it into a sterile space. If you had the chance to become that motive, you would either go insane or feel bliss. Very obviously one is beautiful and the other is rough. All this just leads to hysteria. Maybe you want to be torn out of your environment and sprayed onto a clean canvas, maybe you want a fragment of yourself to be among the abundant compositions that signal anxiety, tension, and aggression, sometimes thick, and sometimes vanishing in front of your eyes. Maybe the expression depersonalized stroke stuck in your head becomes a strange aspiration, you want to be that too - depersonalized. Because both this sterility and this overload seem to be signs of overdrive - from beauty, from ugliness, from reality, from the past, from canons, from childhood icons, and especially from us.
