The Lewben Art Foundation Art Center will open in Vilnius
The Lewben Art Foundation is the winner of the contest organized by Vilnius City Municipality for premises at Bernardinų st. 6-12 in Vilnius. In 2022 the Lewben Art Foundation Art Center will open at this address.
The main program of the Art Center will consist of Lithuanian and international contemporary art exhibitions, presenting both the collection of the foundation and the content of the partners; video art presentations; performance art; presentations of the works of the final year students of the Vilnius Academy of Arts; special attention to young Lithuanian photographers; the annual Young Painter Prize exhibition and awards event; exhibitions by Rupert residents; talks with artists and collectors; an educational hub for communities; conferences on contemporary art; lectures; collecting ABC; tours; creative workshops for kids; visual arts bookstore and reading room and the Lewben Art Foundation administration office.
