Zuza Golińska's solo show “Red Giant” at Wrocław Contemporary Museum

On 16 October Zuza Golińska’s solo exhibition “Red Giant” was opened at Wrocław Contemporary Museum. The Lewben Art Foundation has acquired the artwork "Stick Insect (Mother)", 2020 that is exhibited in the show. This is the second work in the foundation by Zuza Golińska – last year her sculpture "Suns Totem I", 2019 was added to the collection.

Zuza Golińska (b. 1990, Gdańsk) is a visual artist living and working in Warsaw, Poland. In 2015 she graduated of the Mirosław Bałka’s Studio of Spatial Activities in the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. In 2014 and 2015 she was shortlisted for the Hestia Artistic Journey Award. In the same year she won the first prize at the Gdańsk Art Biennale. A recipient of the scholarships by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education (2014) and of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage (2016). In 2015 Golińska was nominated for the StartPoint Prize, a European award for young artists. In 2018, she won the ArtePrize awarded by the ArteVue and Delfina Foundation. She presented her works in the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw, Zachęta National Gallery, Delfina Foundation in London, National Gallery in Prague and many others.
