Exhibition held to celebrate the year of Lithuanians in the world at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
On Friday, July 5, at 1.30 pm an exhibition of Lithuanian artists living abroad will be opened at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (J. Tumo-Vaižganto 2, Vilnius). Artworks included into the exhibition are from the collections of the Lewben Art Foundation and the Lithuanian Expatriate Art Foundation. This is the second exhibition of the foundations organised at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The exhibition presents more than 20 Lithuanian artists from different generations since the 20th century to the present day - works by Jonas Rimša, Pranas Domšaitis, Stasys Eidrigevičius, Kęstutis Zapkus, Rūta Jusionytė, Vytenis Jankūnas and other world famous authors. In the exposition you can see a wide range of Lithuanian atwork from realism to abstraction.
